Design & Technology
At Middlestone Moor Primary Academy, we aim to inspire our pupils to use their imagination and creativity skills in order to plan and make products. Pupils are supported in their designing and making and are taught the technical and practical skills needed to perform the everyday tasks confidently. The children will then be taught the importance of evaluating their products. They will plan, prepare, test and improve products made in order to develop their skills further. The children will be taught how to take risks when creating new products and they will be reminded to use their emerald gem power, in order to allow them to build resilience.
